Community Impact Award

 

Dale Thomas was named the 2019 United Way of Pickaway County Community Impact Award winner on Saturday, November 2nd at the United We Serve Gala.

 

 

On Saturday, November 2nd at the Pavilion at Orchard View of Stoutsville, Pickaway County Sheriff's Dupty and D.A.R.E. officer Dale Thomas was named the winner of the 2019 Community Impact Award.The award award marked the conclusion of a six month search in partnership with the community to seek out and find heroes within our community going above and beyond to make a difference.

 

In September, the United Way of Pickaway County announced the five equally deserving finalists for the 2019 United Way Community Impact Award: Alice Harker, Officer David McIntyre, Jan Shannon, Deputy Dale Thomas, and David Williams. These five individuals were nominated and selected as the result of a community-wide search launched this past June for the inaugural United Way distinction.  

 

The United Way would like to congratulate Dale Thomas for his distinction and indelible efforts to making Pickaway County a better place to live. We would also like to sincerely thank and recognize David Williams, David McIntyre, Alice Harker, and Jan Shannon for their immesurable contributions to our community as well.
