Organizational Advocacy

What makes up a community? Is it our businesses? Is it our parks and schools? Or is it our people? At the United Way of Pickaway County we believe it is the latter.

Every single one of us is unique in nature, coming from a diverse background and leading our own lives stretching from Pickaway County to Ross County, Franklin, the Greater Columbus area and across the state. Becoming an organizational advocate on behalf of the children, elderly, and families the United Way serves means being a part of a calling greater than ourselves. Organizational Advocates assist the United Way by being a liasion unto their various places of employment by helping to streamline and establish pathways to leadership, volunteering, and stewardship.

Below you will find our 2018-19 Employer Packet information complete with a United Way brochure, introductory letter, volunteer form, and pledge card. Whether it be organizational team building through volunteering with a local preschool or homeless shelter or wage donating through our pledge cards where small amounts of $5-10 per pay check add up to substantial giving throughout an organization, the possibilities are endless when we merge community with local business.

To find out more information or to submit a volunteer form or pledge card, contact us directly at: P.O. Box 292, 114 E. Main St. Circleville, OH 43113 or 740-477-8171 and director@pickuw.org.
